Any Body There?

Any body there? we may wonder as we watch people engage with their smart phones while being oblivious to what is going on around them. Anybody there? is the question facing the church as it wrestles with declining religious affiliation. Mueller considers this contemporary context, and offers a response based in an incarnational spirituality accentuating the body and finding expression in corporate, multi-sensory liturgy. Fling Wide the Doors

Fling Wide the Door
is an Advent calendar with forty doors that open revealing images for every day from the beginning of Advent until the feast of the Baptism of the Lord at the close of the Christmas season. Put a light inside or above and the images glow like stained-glass. Designed as a six-sided tower, the calendar can be the centerpiece of your seasonal décor. A booklet by Mueller is included to pray from when opening the doors. Especially appropriate for families with young children.

Spiritual Direction in Context
